Consumers didn't go out an spend as much over the Thanksgiving shopping weekend compared to last year. According to new data from the National Retail Federation, total spending from Thanksgiving Day through Sunday, fell 11% to $50.9 billion from $57.4 billion. Plus, data from ShopperTrak, a location-based analytics firm, said Thanksgiving and Black Friday's combined sales are expected to be around $12.29 billion, or a 0.5% decrease from last year. As for online sales, data from Adobe says Thanksgiving Day hit a record with $1.3 billion in sales, up 25% from last year and a new all-time high for Black Friday with $2.4 billion in sales, up 24% year-over-year.
