Billionaire Al-Waleed bin Talal, who was arrested over the weekend, was the "face" of Saudi Arabia finance, according to Keith Bliss, sr. vice president at Cuttone & Company, based on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

Bliss worked at Citigroup (C) - Get Report in the early 90s when bin Talal invested in the bank and provided capital.

Bin Talal is also an investor in Twitter (TWTR) - Get Report and Lyft.
