President Trump's video statement amid the riot on Capitol Hill has since been deleted by Twitter and Facebook.
Twitter deleted three tweets from the President, which continued to allege election fraud, and locked the @realDonaldTrump account for 12 hours.
Twitter warned that further policy violations will result in permanent suspension of the President's account.
Facebook also removed both the video and a post, and YouTube removed the video. Facebook vice president Guy Benson posted the following statement on Twitter:
