President Joe Biden unveiled his infrastructure plan in Pittsburgh, Wednesday as the next step in his administration’s efforts to improve infrastructure and aid the economic recovery.

The “American Jobs Plan” encompasses $2.25 trillion in spending, spread over eight years.

Among other measures, the package is reported to include $621 billion for transportation infrastructure improvements as well as a $580 billion investment in American manufacturing.
