Berkshire is a Big American Express Backer: Chart of the Day

American Express isn't just the Chart of the Day -- it's also a Jim Cramer Action Alert Pick. The combination of Cramer's interest and the fact that Am-Ex is a Warren Buffett stock might be sufficient to entice some investors, but it hasn't been enough in 2014: the stock is just above break-even so far this year. That's despite American Express' being named one of the world's most valuable brands by Interbrand, and it comes as the company is facing some pressure.
