Thousands of investors make their pilgrimage to Omaha this weekend, as they do each year, to listen to Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett and his sidekick Vice Chairman Charlie Munger talk for hours about the company, investing and anything else they feel like bantering about.
Berkshire Hathaway is a holding company that holds everything from retail companies like Acme Boots, Fruit of the Loom and Oriental Trading Company to furniture companies like Nebraska Furniture Mart and RC Willey Home Furnishings to fun companies in the food space -- like The Pampered Chef, chocolate maker See's Candies and Dairy Queen.
Buffet made news on Friday when he announced that his company bought about 75 million shares of Apple stock during the first quarter of the year, adding to the 165 million shares they already had at year-end.
So investors will be waiting on baded breath to hear more tidbits like that and learn from the smart decisions they have made over the years.
And they have amassed a ton of money because of those smart decisions.
Watch our video now to find out exactly how much!
