The presence of apps like Robinhood, Stash and others have made it easier for investors to get into stock market.
If you are new to investing in the stock market, then you should hear what New York Stock Exchange's youngest-ever female trader, Lauren Simmons, had to say.
"I would be very cautious about what you're putting your money into. Definitely do your research," said Simmons. "There are so many great tools and resources that are out there."
Simmons, 26, who left Wall Street to venture into entrepreneurial world, also has been investing in stock market.
"I know people would love to believe that I follow the stock market all day long and I'm looking at graphs and charts. I don't," she said. "I invested sometime early last March (2020) when the market crashed. I periodically will check in. And that's just my game plan at the moment."
"I don't get too excited over different things that are going on in the market because there is just so much uncertainty that's going on at the moment," she added.
She stressed the fact that making money in stock market is not that easy.
"...Do your due diligence... if it was that easy, we would all be doing it," she said.
