Barnes & Noble, JOLTS: What to Watch on Wall Street for March 10
On Tuesday, March 10th Wall Street awaits earnings and some economic data that could affect the markets. Bookseller Barnes & Noble (BKS) will report quarterly results in the morning followed by FuelCell Energy (FCEL) and VeriFone Systems (PAY) in the afternoon. Barnes & Noble is scheduled to report its third quarter earnings results after the biggest U.S. book store chain said that it would keep its Nook Digital unit and spin off its college bookstore business. Barnes & Noble has been facing declining book sales and weak demand for its Nook tablets. On the economic calendar, we note the small business optimism index from the National Federation of Independent Business, along with the JOLTS report and wholesale inventories.
