Avoid Homebuilders and Play Utilities Amid Freezing Temperatures

As harsh winter weather continues through much of the United States, RealMoney Pro contributor Chris Versace highlights sectors that could experience pain and profit. Versace says he's avoiding the homebuilders for now as freezing January temperatures have yet to be factored in to their earnings reports. He says to focus on homebuilders' outlooks for deliveries, pricing and backlog levels to gauge the effect the winter weather will have on coming quarters. On the flip side, Versace explains why the utilities group is heating up as temperatures continue to drop.
