Software developer Autodesk sees second-quarter results coming in at the top end of previously-issued guidance. The company had guided for revenue of $595 million to $610 million in the second quarter ending July, with earnings between $0.25 cents and $0.30 cents. Management now expects results "at or above" the top end of those ranges, topping analysts' estimates of $602.4 million and $0.29 cents a share. Autodesk is expected to report its second quarter results in mid-August. That good news overshadowed news the company's CFO Mark Hawkins had resigned effective the end of July. Hawkins will fill the post of CFO at Salesforce.
