Investors are tired of only seeing top-line growth at Amazon and want to see it reflected in its bottom line. Chris Versace believes buying shares on dips will pay off.
Amazon recently said it will be reinvesting a major portion of its operating profits into growing its business lines. As the stock was hit on the news, RealMoney Pro contributor Chris Versace explains that many investors are tired of only seeing top-line growth at Amazon and want to see it reflected in its bottom line. But Versace says he is a believer in Amazon and its products -- as well as the stock. With this in mind, he believes buying shares of dips in Amazon now will pay off. Versace says investors who bought shares of amazon during the May/June lows over the last five years and held them until the year-end holiday spending season, the average return was 61%.
