Apple’s (AAPL) new 3D touch technology in its latest version of the iPhone was one of the coolest features it debuted Wednesday, according to one analyst. Brian Blau, Research Director at Gartner, said that Apple showed a real advancement in its product line with the launch of updated iPads and iPhones, but noted it’s hard to say how that might impact the company’s stock. ‘In general investors should think about this as a thumbs up, but they do need to be cautious and wait to see how all these devices are to sell in markets,’ said Blau. He pointed out that Apple is attempting to mass market the iPad Pro and Apple TV, and that’s important for long term growth and future revenues. He does expect revenues will get a lift from the new products in future quarters.
