Apple begins taking pre-orders for the Apple Watch today. Apple analyst Gene Muster says he expects 300,000 to be sold through Sunday and for it to contribute $4.4 billion in revenue this year. Apple has clearly encouraged people to buy the watch online instead of lining up in stores, a directive from CEO Tim Cook. Fans can, however, get a glimpse of the watch and try it on, at Apple stores with an appointment. From London to Beijing, Apple Stores saw few customers lined up before opening. There are reports that the watch is sold out on-line. Already, there are reports that fake Apple Watches are being sold in China and elsewhere.
