Apple has released its second update to its new iOS 8 operating system that contains improvements and bug fixes. When many iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users found their cellular service and Touch ID functionality disabled after upgrading to iOS 8.0.1, Apple pulled the update and issued a temporary fix. Now, Apple's release fixes those issues, as well as a bug impacting HealthKit apps and issues with third-party keyboards, reachability, photo library, SMS/MMS messages and more. Apple says less than 40,000 iPhone 6 and 6 Plus devices were affected by the problems. It issued an apology to those impacted by the bug in the first update.
