Sound operating results during the fourth quarter helped Diebold increase revenue by nearly 10% on a constant currency basis, said the company's CEO Andy Mattes. Mattes added that he expects 2015 to be another year of growth. He said Apple Pay is beneficial to the ATM provider because it drives the concurrence of mobile and ATM technologies. Mattes said the trend toward fewer full service bank branches is also positive for Diebold because banks will replace closing branches with ATMs to maintain a presence in the area. Finally, Mattes said the company will be rolling out anti-microbial screens with gorilla glass to reduce germs in high traffic areas.
