Shares of Apple (AAPL) closed at a new all-time high on Wednesday, making it TheStreet's Move of the Day. Shares of the iPhone maker ended the regular trading session with a record high of $119.56. In addition, a report showed iPhone 6 sales topped Android rivals in the U.S. for the first time since 2012. iOS devices outsold Android by a slim margin, with analysts saying Apple was helped by strong customer loyalty. The company has a retention rate of 87% in the U.S. and Europe. The stock is now up nearly 65% in the past year, with the most recent quarterly results being a huge driver. Shares of Apple ended the day higher on heavy volume, as the most actively traded stock on the S&P 500. TheStreet's Kurumi Fukushima reports in New York.
