Global stock markets are falling again today, extending Friday's losses. The carnage started in Europe, where stocks fell to a 15 month low. Oil prices added to the pressure, with oil down 2%. Chinese markets will be closed all week for the Chinese Lunar New Year. The Denver Broncos are the Super Bowl champs. The beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10. Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning handed Budweiser $3.2 million in free advertising by mentioning twice after the game that he would be drinking a Budweiser after the game. Anheuser-Busch Inbev said it had no part in the impromptu promo. Published reports are saying that Ford (F) plans to build a new auto plant in Mexico, with plans to rev up production there. The Wall Street Journal says the carmaker will more than double last year's production in that country.
