An Exclusive Look Inside Party City’s Design Studio

When you walk into the design department at Party City's (PRTY) - Get Report corporate headquarters in Elmsford, New York, you can't help but notice all of the vivid colors and inspiration pieces lining the walls. On the day TheStreet visited the design center, graphic artists were hard at work designing napkins. From trend research to design, the team is responsible for all aspects of the process until the design is sent off to the manufacturing facility. Unlike other design studios, Party City controls its U.S.-based manufacturing facilities. Party City's Senior Creative Director Jessica Benoit says, 'When we see something that's really hot. We want to jump onto it. We are really fortunate that we have our own manufacturing here in the U.S. so we can apply those trends to our tableware and get it into our stores really quickly.'
