Amazon's Newest Service Allows In-Home Delivery When You're Not Home
Amazon has revealed a Cloud Cam that supports a service called Amazon Key
Amazon has unveiled new service that allows for in-home delivery when you're not home.
The e-commerce giant has revealed a Cloud Cam that supports an app called Amazon Key. When a delivery driver requests access to a customer's home, the app verifies their identity. The Cloud Cam then starts recording and the door is unlocked. The delivery person can't proceed with other package drop-offs until the home with Amazon Key is locked again.
The Cloud Cam features 1080p HD video, night vision and two-way audio. You can purchase one Cloud Cam for under $100 each, a two pack for $199.99 or a three pack for $289.99.
