Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Microsoft's Bill Gates and Alibaba's Jack Ma Create New Clean Tech VC Fund

A host of billionaires, including Amazon's (AMZN) - Get Report Jeff Bezos, Microsoft's (MSFT) - Get Report Bill Gates and Alibaba's (BABA) - Get Report Jack Ma, among other investors, are creating a new clean tech venture capital firm called Breakthrough Energy Ventures. Some $1 billion will be invested in clean technology companies over the next two decades. The firm's goal is to service the needs of the global population without "contributing to greenhouse gas emissions." TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
