Amazon Q4 Beats on Bottom Line but Revenue Falls Short
Amazon's earnings beat the Street in its fourth quarter, but revenue and guidance came up short.
Amazon (AMZN) - Get Report earned $1.54 a share in its fourth quarter, stronger than the $1.36 that was expected. Amazon's revenue was $43.7 billion, falling short of Wall Street's forecast of $44.7 billion. Amazon's first-quarter revenue guidance is between $33.25 billion and $35.75 billion, lower than the expected range of $34.52 billion to $36.95 billion.
