Amazon Outperforms Best Expectations in Sizzling Quarter

Amazon was helped by prime and its cloud business. The company continues to add prime members. Prices jumped 2% and has now hit 2016 highs for a third straight day. Investors are shrugging off high inventories. Oil prices have surged 80% since late January.
