5 Things to Know About Amazon's New 'Four-Star Store' in NYC
Amazon.com's (AMZN) - Get Report efforts to work its way into physical retail just keep coming.
On Thursday, the e-commerce giant opened its first bricks-and-mortar location to sell popular items from its website beyond just books. The new store is called '4-Star' and only sells items that have 4-star customer ratings or above on Amazon.com, are new and trending or are top sellers.
The store is located in New York City's trend Soho neighborhood but the company isn't saying anything about whether it plans to open more stores anywhere else. For that, you'll have to stay tuned, but in the meantime, check out some live footage of the store TheStreet took on Thursday morning.
