Amazon looks to go head-to-head with eBay’s PayPal with its latest payment feature. Amazon is reportedly launching the service on Monday in which it will become the middleman between consumers and small businesses that offer subscription services or items that generate recurring payments. The services that users can sign up for through this feature include monthly bills such as cell phone services to subscription fees for online products like digital music. Ting, mobile carrier and mobile product provider, was the first company to use the service as confirmed by Amazon.
