Amazon is our chart of the day. The e-commerce giant has come a long way from its humble days of being an online book store. Since its start in the nineties, we have watched the stock climb from a humble 1.50 to 80 dollars when it introduced groceries and the kindle in 2007. The gadget sold out in five and a half hours upon its debut. By 2012, Amazon introduced green products, boosting its stock to the 200 dollar level. This past year, its traded as high as 400 dollars and as low as 287 as it invests more money into building warehouses and introduces private label baby products to meet consumer demand for faster shipping.
