Amazon Reveals New Hardware, Echo Updates

Amazon (AMZN) - Get Report is building upon its Echo ecosystem with a ton of hardware updates. 

At an event in Seattle, Amazon announced a range of new products that included new versions of Fire TV, Echo, Ring, Echo and a few surprises. H

A few highlights included an Echo Studio, a $200 premium version of the Echo that delivers higher-quality audio. 

Amazon also unveiled Echo Buds, a competitor to Apple's Air Pods that adds its Alexa voice assistant and Bose-caliber sound to an in-ear wearable. 

Echo Flex, a $25 small speaker that plugs into a wall outlet, was another intriguing iteration on Amazon's growing Echo lineup.  

The event also included some surprises, such as Echo Frames, a smart glasses product that will be available on an invite-only, test basis through Amazon's Day One program for emerging products.
