Alphabet Shares Move Lower Even With Earnings, Revenue Beat
Alphabet shares moved lower following its earnings release.
Alphabet (GOOGL) - Get Report reported second quarter earnings of $5.01 a share topping estimates of $4.49.
Revenue of $26.01 billion -- up 21% year over year -- eclipsed estimates of $25.65 billion.
Advertising revenue stood at $22.7 billion.
Alphabet is the parent company of Google.
The stock is down 2% in after hours trading.
