The Northeast is battening down in preparation for winter chaos. A major snowstorm is scheduled to hit the east coast, bringing with it around 2- 3 feet of snow and winds of up to seventy five miles per hour. Airlines have cancelled almost 1,900 flights in and out of east coast airports on Monday and nearly 1,800 on Tuesday. Most airlines are allowing customers to re-book their trip without paying extra costs. A blizzard warning has been issued for a 250-mile stretch of the Northeast. Major cities including New York, Boston and Philadelphia will be affected.
