Airline PR Troubles Persist With Woman Suing Delta Over A Chipped Tooth
Who knew pita and eggplant could be so dangerous?
A woman is suing Delta Airlines (DAL) - Get Report over her chipped tooth and seeking $9,999.99 for out-of-pocket dental expenses.
Delta refused to compensate her after a disastrous flight from Turkey to LA in 2015. The culprit? Pita with eggplant dipping sauce. She says she bit into a pebble in the sauce and destroyed a bottom tooth, leaving an exposed nerve. When she screamed in pain flight attendants rushed to her side, but only offered her the equivalent of $80 in airline miles.
The woman claims to have underwent 2 years of "complex dental restoration."
