Actor Ryan Reynolds Is Rocking the Advertising World

Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds has shifted some of his creative efforts to advertising and marketing and he's having some fun while doing it. The marketing and advertising world is as competitive as ever with brands jockeying for views and clicks on multiple social media formats in addition to traditional outlets.  Through his Maximum Effort marketing company, Reynolds has been producing ad campaigns for some major brands including Peloton  (PTON) - Get Peloton Interactive, Inc. Class A Report, Hyundai  (HYMLF) ,  (MTCH) - Get Match Group, Inc. Report and Hugh Jackman's Luckyman Coffee in addition to his own brands, Aviation Gin and Mint Mobile.

Several of his ad campaigns have gone viral, turning the marketing world on its head using unconventional humor and techniques like product placement of his own brands within ads for other companies such as Netflix and Samsung.

Humor is a tried and true strategy and actor Ryan Reynolds delivers ad campaigns with targeted messaging and laughs adding to the viral performance of his videos on social media. 

Reynolds' brand of liquor, Aviation American Gin has partnered with Virgin Atlantic Airlines as the gin served on its flights and in its clubhouse lounges. Of course, a video was made with Richard Brandson and Reynolds announcing their partnership. Reynolds has since sold the gin company to another company for $610 million.

Reynolds' Mint Mobile has grown substantially through his ad campaigns, increasing revenue by nearly 50,000% in the past three years. The actor and producer's revenue has also been growing and as of Jan. 2021, Reynolds' estimated net worth was $150 million according to
