Celebrities like actor Ed Burns turned out in force for Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners annual Charity Day, which marks the anniversary of 9/11. The event raises millions for charity each year, and honors the lives of 658 Cantor employees and 61 Eurobrokers employees who were killed in the terrorist act. 'I'm a New Yorker. I lived downtown on 9/11,' said Burns. 'Anytime you can give a little bit of your time to raise some money for a number of good causes, how do you say no to that?' Burns, along with his wife, model Christy Turlington, were raising money for the charities Every Mother Counts and Comfort Zone Camp. Charity Day has raised approximately $113 million globally. During the event, celebrities join employees on the trading floor to help raise money.
