In the May Action Alerts PLUS members' call, Cramer talked about why his AAP team continues to stick to their discipline, even when it fails them.

They have developed a series of "disciplines" -- or investing rules --  over the years that have worked "in choppy markets, worked in down markets and even have fared well in up tapes," he said.

"However, there is one set of markets where our disciplines hurt is, those where there is week after week where the market takes on the quality of a rocket ship. That's exactly the kind of experience we have had since we spoke last," he said.
