In the May Action Alerts PLUS members' call, Cramer talked about the portfolio's financial holdings and how they fared during earnings season.

And because of extraneous reasons, they didn't do so great.

"We owned three of the best: JP Morgan (JPM) , Citigroup (C) and Goldman Sachs . All three failed to perform despite their superior earnings," he said.

But Cramer made a ver important point. "The banks are undergoing their annual Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review and until they get the results at the end of the June, they tend to hold back on their buybacks and dividend boosting." So you can expect these stocks to trade sideways for a bit.

Once that review is done, it could be off to the races!  So listen in now to hear which holding he expects to increase.
