Every spent a day at the New York Stock Exchange?

TheStreet's Annie Gaus had never done so until this week. On Thursday, she paid a visit to the NYSE to see how the magic happens.

That morning, the gig platform Fiverr (FVRR) made its stock market debut, and didn't have a bad showing either.

Fiverr's initial price was set at $21 per share. It began trading at $26, and it closed the trading day up nearly 90% at a closing price of $39.90.
