A Relief Rally is Coming For Stocks Once the Political Season is Over
Markets are betting that once the presidential election is held, the new administration will provide fiscal stimulus in a move that will be bullish for stocks.
Stock market volatility over the next few weeks will gave way to a relief rally once the political season is over and the presidential election is held. That's the opinion of Jason Trennert, Managing Partner at Strategas. Trennert says regardless of the election outcome, he expects Washington will provide fiscal stimulus to try to rev up economic growth. He expects technology, financials and industrials look attractive now. On October 26th, Trennert joins TheStreet's Jim Cramer and other Wall Street experts for a panel discussion on Wall Street and the presidential election at the Yale Club in New York. TheStreet's Rhonda Schaffler reports from Wall Street.
