The European Union's economic and financial affairs council, known as ECOFIN, meets this week to discuss the issue of corporate taxation. Leaders will discuss the European Commission's proposal to set new rules on how corporate profits are taxed, according to Real Money's Antonia Oprita. The rules would require multinational companies to pay taxes based on where their assets are located. Additionally, Eurogroup finance ministers will meet to discuss Greece's finances.
