5 Tech Trends to Cash In On This Fall
With threats evolving through the "hacker industry" more quickly than ever before, adaptive security architecture is going to be one of the top tech trends in the coming months as companies protect their infrastructure from emerging threats, said Deven Parekh, managing director at Insight Venture Partners. "People are getting into networks in a way that has become much more prevalent," said Parekh. "It's a cat and mouse game. Finding next generation technologies to prevent that is going to be key." Insight Venture Partners was founded in 1995 and has raised over $13 billion, investing in more than 250 growth-stage companies worldwide. Notable previous companies in Parekh's portfolio have included Buddy Media which was acquired by Salesforce (CRM) - Get Report , Tumblr, which was acquired by Yahoo! (YHOO) and Chegg (CHGG) - Get Report . The next big tech trend investors and CEO alike should be watching this fall is "customer success/retention". Parekh said that software-as-a-service (SaaS) is no longer a single-company solution now that new services are cropping up more quickly than before.
