On Friday, September 22, UK Prime Minister Theresa May is set to deliver a landmark speech on Brexit in Florence, Italy. UK citizens voted to withdraw from the European Union on June 23, 2016. The official negotiation process, which is expected to last two years, began earlier this year.
Also on Friday, the Eurozone Markit manufacturing, services PMI for September is unveiled.
On Sunday, September 24, general elections are held in Germany, where populism is expected to be tested once again. Chancellor Angela Merkel is running for reelection.
