3 Surprising Things J.C. Penney Is Doing This Holiday Season

Your loving mom may notice some different things at J.C. Penney this holiday season. First, J.C. Penney is testing a buy online, ship-merchandise-from-store program in 50 stores, which helps to reduce lost sales online due to out of stocks. The program is limited right now to lingerie and other basic apparel. Second, J.C. Penney is giving a 20% discount on Levi's, Nike, and Disney items for opening a new private label credit card, which it didn't offer a year ago. And finally, there are more red dresses and blouses for women this season to coincide with holiday gatherings. TheStreet's Brian Sozzi reports.
