It's another big week for earnings, but Goldman Sachs (GS) , Microsoft (MSFT) and GE (GE) could have implications for the broader markets this week.

Goldman Sachs may announce that President David Solomon will succeed Lloyd Blankfein as CEO, according to a report from the New York Times.

Microsoft reports earnings Thursday - it's market cap is over $800 billion and is a contender for the world's first trillion dollar company.
