The Dodge Challenger Hellcat could be summed up in three words: ridiculously ferocious beast. Billed by Dodge as the world's fastest production muscle car at 707 horsepower, it will easily eat the Ford (F) - Get Report Mustang GT -- which has a mere 435 horsepower -- for lunch. Even the 526 horsepower Ford Mustang Shelby GT 350 is no real match for the awesome Hellcat at on track day. The new Camaro ZL1 from General Motors (GM) - Get Report would likely give the Hellcat a better race in the quarter mile, as it boasts about 650 horsepower. The Hellcat rockets from 0-60 in about 3.6 seconds, and could rip through the quarter mile in roughly 11.7 seconds. In short, the Hellcat detests traffic with all of its American soul and can't help but to laugh while passing a Smart car. TheStreet's Brian Sozzi highlights three of the Hellcat's most insane performance features during a day spent at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut.
