$3 Billion Worth of Art Goes Up for Grabs in Miami This Week

Art Basel, Miami Beach kicks off this week, showcasing $3 billion worth of art at auction. 4,000 artists from 31 countries will be represented at the fair. Big celebrity buyers at the fair in past years have included Leonardo di Caprio, Jay Z & Beyonce and Brad Pitt, while Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush will both hold large fundraising events at Basel this year. Over 75,000 guests are expected to attend the shows, with Uber stepping up to provide boats to ferry passengers to their destinations. $100 million worth of art by Picasso and Matisse will be on show.
