As the economy and job market improve, entrepreneurship has been on the decline in the U.S. However, entrepreneurship is on the rise in Ithaca, New York, where Svante Myrick, the city's youngest mayor in history, has presided at a time when Ithaca posted the lowest unemployment rate in the state even while other nearby areas were suffering from employment troubles.
