The Dow Jones Industrial Average swung 760 points today but finished up 230 points to end the day.  So we took the camera to the newsroom to get the scoop on what happened.

While the day started off with China's tariff retaliation which resulted in the manufacturing and machinery companies taking a hit, it ended with an erasure of most of those declines and a more even-keeled notion that global economic growth might not be in jeopardy after all.

Although Boeing (BA - Get Report) still was one of the biggest decliners, falling 1% and Deere & Co. (DE - Get Report) was down 2.9%.

And right at market close, Facebook's (FB - Get Report)  CEO Mark Zuckerberg finally held a call to discuss the recent data breach. (Facebook is an Action Alerts PLUS portfolio holding.)

So watch the video above and listen in as we talk to Brian Sozzi, Kinsey Grant, Anders Keitz and Jerry Kronenberg of RealMoney about the days biggest issues and it all affects your portfolio.

Plus Scott Gamm has a great chart of the day. So watch now!
