Investors scooped up shares of General Electric (GE) , Apple (AAPL) , Facebook (FB) during the February selloff, according to fresh data from TD Ameritrade.

Plus, TD Ameritrade's Investor Movement Index fell 23% in February, a sign that investors reacted heavily to the market swings.

"There was movement in the movement index," said JJ Kinahan, chief market strategist at TD Ameritrade.
