Target (TGT) releases quarterly earnings on Tuesday, March 6. 

According to TheStreet's founder and Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer, some investors may tie Target's results to the recent wave of trade and tariff worries.

"You can spin a story that says Target buys a lot of Chinese goods and those prices are going to go up," Cramer noted. "I think that's a false narrative."
