Yes, Tyson Foods (TSN) is dabbling in blockchain technology. But not to launch a cryptocurrency trading network, but instead to reduce food waste and track potential contamination. 

"I think blockchain will have an enormous impact on the food business," Tyson Foods CEO Tom Hayes told TheStreet.
