Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R - Arkansas) said NAFTA must be modernized.

"Whenever it was passed, we didn't have a online society - a lot has changed in terms of technology and robotics," he said in an interview with TheStreet, adding that NAFTA is very important to the state of Arkansas as Canada is their number one trading partner and Mexico is number two.

Hutchinson maintains that NAFTA should not be terminated.
