We spoke with Brian Davidoff, head of Greenberg Glusker's Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Group, who laid out the four signs that a retailer is going under. 

They are: 

  • excessive debt obligations
  • shrinking vendor support
  • extending maturities on debt
  • unprofitable locations
