S&P 500 companies posted double-digit earnings growth in 2017 leading to a 20% gain in stocks. According to Andy Kapyrin, director of research at RegentAtlantic, even if the double-digit earnings gains continue, that won't necessarily translate into another 20% gain for stocks.
